The Cavern Beatles
"It's been a hard day.......s night!",
proclaimed Ringo after reasing that another busy
day for the Beatle's in 1964 had slipped into
night time.
The Beatles were working so hard in 63/64 that
Ringo's famous mis-quote seemed the natural title
for the groups first feature film released in
1964.
Last year, The Cavern Beatles concentrated the
first half of their performance on the songs from
1963, the dawning of Beatlemania in the U.K.
40 years ago in 1964, The Beatles were ready
to take on the U.S.A. and the world.
Plans are already afoot in the U.S. to celebrate the anniversary
of "The British Invasion". On this side of the
Atlantic, The Cavern Beatles show will feature songs from
"A Hard Day's Night", "Beatles For Sale"
and the fab four singles.
"A Hard Day's Night", "And I Love
Her", "If I Fell" etc...etc...
"Like a scene from A Hard Days Night - Amazing."
THE SUNDAY TIMES
"They have studied the mannerisms, gestures
and expressions of their superstar subjects and
they are accomplished singers and instrumentalists
who manage to capture the musical feel of the
original Fab Four"
Former Beatle Press Officer - TONY BARROW
"The likenesses are striking - but the sound,
the sound....this could, indeed be the Beatles."
IRISH TIMES
"A perfect imitation"
SUNDERLAND ECHO
"The new knights of de ja vu"
