The Corrz - Corrs Tribute Band

This U. K. based musical family got together in 1999, and since then they have performed to over 50,000 people, covering over 500 events world-wide, recreating the sights and unique Celtic sounds of 'The Corrs' to perfection.

Fronting the band are sisters Lisa and Tracey McAlpine as Andrea and Sharon Corr. Sister Caroline joins them on drums and percussion as well as cousin Gary (as Jim Corr) on vocals, guitar and keyboards. In addition to the four family members, The Corrs also feature Paul Twokig on Bass Guitar and Paul Broughton on Lead guitar.

Incorporating all traditional Irish instruments such as the Bodhran, the tin whistle and the violin, this 6 piece, live band take you on a Celtic journey through 3 Albums, 'Forgiven Not Forgotten', Talk on Corners' and more recently 'In Blue', performing all the hits such as 'So Young', 'Irresistible', 'Runaway,' 'What Can I Do', 'Dreams' and 'Breathless', mixed with traditional Irish tunes such as 'Haste To The Wedding' and 'Toss The Feathers'.

In addition to the highly acclaimed musical show, The Corrs have collaborated this year with the world famous, all female string quartet 'SHANNON', whose history has been associated with artistes such as 'Pulp', 'Crowded House', 'Long Pigs', 'Neil Finn', 'Cocteau Twins' and 'The Justin Lewis Orchestra'. SHANNON's appearances includes venues such as Ronnie Scotts, T in the Park, Glastonbury and a recent television appearance on Yorkshire Television with The Neil Fin Band. Elizabeth, Naomi, Melody and Vanessa incorporate all the wonderful sounds of the Cello, viola and violins, capturing all the haunting melodies and moods of this unique Celtic music. With beauty, charm and sophistication, performing alongside The Corrz throughout the whole show, SHANNON bring to the forefront a stunning musical experience.

A further addition to the show are the truly amazing CELTIC CONNECTION Irish Dancers. They bring to the show a true feel of the traditions that we have come to admire and love. The Irish dancers open both shows and are featured during the performance, performing routines from the hit musicals such as 'Riverdance' and 'Lord of the Dance'. Incorporating all the dynamic energy and magic that this wonderful form of dancing achieves. This spectacular backdrop of Irish dance boasts the perfect setting for the most authentic and accurate tribute show the world has ever seen.

after successfully completing their first tour of the U. K., this truly talented family is continuing to wow audiences across the globe and through public demand has just embarked on their second 165 date theatre tour.
